Marshall Field's Has Loyal Fans

The idea for this website was inspired by two very excellent websites. The first is FieldsFansChicago.org which was born of necessity due to the grassroots movement of multiple thousands who protested Macy's move to disregard 150 years worth of Chicago history, business and culture by removing Marshall Field's name, quality, and reputation from the Chicago market and elsewhere in the Midwest. At the same time, Macy's has usurped the many fine traditions established by Marshall Field's, acting as if they instead were the originators of such fine traditions.

Field's Fans Chicago has made a definite impact and has also served as a model of inspiration to other businesses and communities. If you haven't already, please visit FieldsFansChicago.org
It's definitely worth the trip.

Darrid.com is another wonderful website dedicated to the ultimate department store, Marshall Field's. With many excellently crafted slideshows, Darrid.com takes you on a fascinating journey of all that made Marshall Field's so special; from the beautiful window displays that 111 N. State Street was known for to the delectable culinary creations of Field's many fine restaurants. There is so much more in store for you when you visit Darrid.com!
